What to expect
Type rating programs are approved under our EASA ATO
Ground Training Phase | provides theory to be applied in the simulator training phases. This is provided through a combination of instructor supported Computer Based Training (CBT) and instructor led classroom training. |
Flight Simulator (FSTD) Phase | delivered at our various training centers worldwide with existing locations in Europe, the United Kingdom, and Asia. Type rating training includes Upset Prevention, Recognition and Recovery Training, Performance Based Navigation (PBN) / Instrument Rating (IR). |
Additional options | Low Visibility Operations (LVO), Extended Diversion Time Operations (EDTO), North Atlantic High-Level Airspace (NAT HLA), and aircraft base training. Aircraft acceptance and delivery as well as Initial Operating Experience options are available for A320, A330, A340, and A350. |
Bespoke training | We support your airline and provide type rating courses that follow your airline standard operating procedures which in turn creates a smooth transition to flight operations and minimize the need for additional expense and training. All of our instructors are current operating Airbus airline pilots with tremendous experience. Their knowledge and understanding will accelerate learning and provide the results you seek. |

Type rating courses are intended for pilots meeting standard license eligibility criteria according to the state of license issue.
